A while ago Sandy and Theresa Waters started a drive to get legislation passed in Michigan to require insurance to cover low protein foods. A bill was created and the process was started. Its been very slow going, in the mean time, Blue Cross of Michigan has agreed to cover these low protein foods. (Perhaps to forestall the attempted legislation - my opinion.) In any case, it seems that they are now covering these foods! We submitted a reimbursement request and just got the check. I have created a forum topic so we can discuss any issues.
