John, it is great hearing from you and congratulations on you new Droid purchase. i I hope you enjoy it and be honest, i am a little jealous. Do let me know how it works for you considering your screen is quite bigger than my G1.
What I did for myself is that I added the most commonly used 300+ foods Vincent eats into my server and that's what my application search is currently based on. Everytime we encounter a new food or a new recipe, i just log into www.mypkudiet.com and add its nutrition fact into the server so i can use it from thereafter. anyone can do it the same way. i can even help you to batch load.
